Hi Susan,
…I was just thinking about Concord, how I was
looking at the incoming
freshmen,
and how I was a freshman myself once. I cannot tell you how much
have grown
throughout my time at Concord. I came there with an open mind,
and now I
feel I have learned so much and can really appreciate the difference
inside
myself in the last 3 years.
I feel that
I was so little and immature when I came to Concord, and throughout
my time
there, my experiences and lessons (not only academically, but how I
relate to
the world and other people) have changed. It has been such a
beautiful
place to spend these years, and it has been a great challenge to push
myself to
the highest of my abilities. I look at the incoming freshmen, who, for
the most
part, have open and young minds just as I had.
I m making a
scrapbook of my years during high school so I can note my
changes and
remember - it's kind of my own yearbook, for myself and for my
future
children - and a large part of it is about how Concord affected me. My
styles
changed, my mind expanded, I went through a number of stages; it's just
been so
great.
So, to wrap
this up, I love your school and all the opportunities you've given
me, and I
hope so many more kids can have that same experience.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Chelsea Spann
