Ms. Susan Parker Davis

Concord High School

 Dear Susan,

Thank you for all your hard work this year. You have created a learning environment that is staffed with remarkable teachers who inspire students to learn and think. You have created a learning environment that is nurturing and forgiving allowing students to be fully self-expressed and supported through the many challenges of being a teenager in the 21st  century. And you have created a learning environment that enables students to make friends who support each other and honor their individuality. Tiffany's mind and spirit have truly benefited from her first year at Concord.

Adriana's knowledge and kindness restored Tiffany's confidence and joy in learning science last summer in her AP Biology class and again this year in AP Chemistry class.

Linda taught Tiffany not to give up, that history was within her grasp and gave her the courage and motivation to take the AP US History test.

Rene helped Tiffany catch up in Spanish, learn to enjoy the beauty of foreign films, and instilled in her the desire to continue studying a language that she really wants to speak.

Ira's profound knowledge of Mark Twain inspired Tiffany to read and think about literature in new ways.

John gave Tiffany the space and time to create some remarkable pieces this year. She is truly proud of her work in his class and rewarded for his belief in her artistic talent.

Bamdad taught Tiffany that sleep was important to successful math tests, made her feel that she was capable of mastering very difficult math concepts and helped her overcome her anxiety about making mistakes.

Susan you truly believe the best about your students, are always available to guide and consult with parents, and still have energy left over to investigate everyone's next good idea about something that might, would or could benefit Concord students. We appreciate all these qualities, the staff and the amazing affect they have had on our daughter this year

Best regards,

Diane Hill
