  • LATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Ben is one of five male finalists in the L.A. Clippers/Blue Shield of California College Scholarship Program.

  • ACHIEVEMENTS: Ben, who holds a 4.4 grade point average at Concord High, has been accepted to a number of colleges including UCLA and the College of William and Mary

    . He is the 1994 Regional Gymnastics champion and earned a second place in the 1992 International Karate Championships.

  • ACTIVITIES: An actor, Ben had a starring role in the 1988 movie, "Flowers in the Attic." He also was the voice of "Fantastic Max" in the TV cartoon series of the same name from 1988 to 1990.

  • FAVORITE SUBJECT: History and political science.

  • ASPIRATION: To be an entrepreneur and, once established in business, to enter politics.

  • QUOTE: "I'd like to go into the Olympics as a gymnast. Since I was a little kid, I've been interested in gymnastics. I started at about age 1 for fun, in one of those mommy-and-me type of classes. Then at about age 4 or 5, I started competing. I love it and hope to make the Olympics. I'd like to have the feeling of achievement and success and that all this work paid off at the end."
