  • NAME: Vanessa Desrocher
  • SCHOOL: Concord High School
  • GRADE: 12
  • Achievements: Vanessa, who maintains a 4.21 grade point average, will receive Concord's Continuing Academic Achievement Award at this year's graduation ceremony. She has been accepted to several colleges, including New York University, Boston University and Drew University, and plans to attend the University of Washington. For the past three summers, Vanessa has traveled to Costa Rica and the West Indies to work as a volunteer helping the less fortunate.

  • Activities: Traveling and playing both the saxophone and the flute.

  • Aspiration: "To be fluent in as many languages as possible and to travel all over the world. I would also love to play my instruments on Broadway."
